PEXa MECHANICAL · UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Let heat rise from under your feet .

With PEXa underfloor heating, the whole floor becomes one large heat emitter. Low-temperature water heats the room evenly and silently; there are no radiators, so walls and window areas stay free.

Why underfloor heating?

Warm feet, cool head.

The human body feels comfortable when it is warm at the feet and slightly cooler at head height. Underfloor heating comes very close to this ideal profile; radiators carry warm air up to the ceiling.

01

The right comfort

Heat rises from the floor; feet stay warm and the head stays cool. Less heat is wasted collecting under the ceiling.

02

Low temperature, new energy

The large surface works with low water temperature. It is ready for sources such as heat pumps, solar and wind.

03

Invisible installation

No radiators, panels or pipes on show; walls, window areas and furniture layout stay free.

Five generations

From the hammam to the dry system.

Underfloor heating is as old as humanity. We joined this journey in 1986 with ISIYER; today we move forward with the fifth generation, a screed-free dry system.

1GOpen fire

Hammam and tandoor

The hammam and tandoor, using the heat of an open fire.

2GMetal pipe

Metal pipes

The first water-based systems; metal pipes were laid in the floor.

3GPPC pipe

Plastic pipes

We brought them to Türkiye with ISIYER in 1986; they caused problems.

4GPEXa pipe

PEX-a in wet screed

Cross-linked pipe running through the screed: long life, trouble-free operation.

5GDry system

Siccus

A screed-free system with aluminium plates; it sits just under the floor covering and runs on 30–35 °C water.

In the wet system, PEXa pipe is fixed to a studded insulation panel and stays inside the screed. The insulation directs heat upwards; the edge strip absorbs the screed’s expansion.
