Since 1989 we have been the authorised partner in Türkiye, first of Wirsbo and today of Uponor. It is a road that runs from Virsbo in Sweden, where PEX pipe was first produced, to construction sites in Istanbul.

Wirsbo started PEX pipe production
PEX pipe was produced for the first time in the world at the Virsbo plant in Sweden.
- 1988
Uponor acquired Wirsbo
Uponor entered the hot water pipe business by acquiring Wirsbo and Hewing in Germany.
- 1989
Wirsbo sole authorised distributorship
Our family’s company ISIYER became Wirsbo’s sole authorised distributor in Türkiye.
- 2006
One brand: Uponor
Uponor brought all its businesses, including Wirsbo, together under a single brand.
- 2010
PEXa Boru Sanayi A.Ş.
The PEXa brand was registered and our company was founded; the Uponor partnership continued under a new roof.
- 2023
Uponor in the GF group
Having joined the Swiss GF group, Uponor continues as a product brand within the GF Building Flow Solutions division.
- 2024
Virsbo carbon neutral
The Virsbo factory, where PEX was born, has reached carbon neutrality in its own operations.

At the heart of Uponor pipes is cross-linking technology, which binds the molecules of polyethylene to one another.

Cross-linked structure
In PEX-a production, polyethylene chains bond together like a net; the pipe becomes resistant to heat, pressure and wear.

Shape memory
An expanded pipe returns to its original diameter. In a Q&E connection, the pipe settles tightly onto the fitting by itself.
