Thermatop M: heating and cooling from the ceiling.
Uponor Thermatop M is a water-based ceiling heating and cooling system. Modules concealed inside the plasterboard ceiling transfer heat mainly by radiation, leaving a seamless, non-directional and clean ceiling surface.

The temperature of the water in the pipes inside the ceiling changes, and the system switches roles with the season. Heat is carried not by blowing air but by radiation between surfaces; there are no draughts or fan noise in the room.
The ceiling becomes a warm surface
Warm water warms the ceiling; radiation directly heats the surfaces and people in the room. Heat output reaches up to 105 W/m².
The ceiling absorbs heat
Cool water cools the ceiling; excess heat in the room is drawn to the ceiling. Cooling output reaches up to 67 W/m², with no feeling of draught.

No fans or blowing; heat is distributed evenly across the entire ceiling surface.

Prefabricated, lightweight modules clip onto the CD profiles of the ceiling substructure with fixing rails. Installation is fast and tool-free; standard modules fit conventional suspended ceilings.
